How are Cinnamon Swirl ornaments made?
A special dough is made with cinnamon (to fill your home with the delicious scent of Christmas), red dirt (from Kauai's famous-for-staining-everthing, iron-rich soil), and beach sand (from Kauai's beautiful shores). The dough is then rolled out, cut with cookie cutters, air-dried, and hand-painted.

Are Cinnamon Swirl ornaments edible?
Sorry, but no. As much as they look and smell like cookies, please resist the temptation to take a nibble!

How long do Cinnnamon Swirl ornaments last?
You will enjoy the ornaments for many Christmas seasons. They will not disintegrate or mold. Store them in a sealed container with a cinnamon stick and the scent will last for years.

How did you begin making Cinnamon Swirl ornaments?
Several years ago, I was frustrated with not being able to find inexpensive, yet beautiful and unique Christmas ornaments. I found a recipe for cinnamon ornaments and made some for myself, family, and friends. Everyone enjoyed them, especially because they appeal to two senses: sight and smell. Later, I experimented with adding red dirt and beach sand to send loved ones a piece of Kauai, my home. Today, return customers visit me at craft fairs to expand their collections, while new customers marvel at these charming ornaments and are eager to start their own collections. And now you can, too!

Ornaments are shipped by USPS Priority Mail. Shipping rates are usually $6.95 (small box), $10.95 (medium flat rate box), or $14.95 (large flat rate box), depending on the size of the products ordered. After placing your order, an exact shipping rate will be given, after which you can choose to proceed with the order or not.
